Again, several years since my last post, not only did I fall off the bandwagon, but I also did a jump and dive off it.
Now at the heaviest I have ever been (24 stone and 4lbs – 340lbs), I have had enough.
The route to over 24 stone and 4lbs – 340lbs has been simple really:
- I’ve consumed way too much alcohol
- I’ve eaten too much
- I’ve done little to no exercise
The thing that has really made me want to start getting some of this weight off is the fact I have put on over 20lb in the past 5 months. I honestly cannot believe I have put so much on. My shirts no longer fit, my jeans no longer do up. I have become so big that I can do nothing much more than live in my gym clothes – because nothing else fits.
With greater weight – comes greater problems
Just over 12 months ago I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure – I am sure that this is due solely to weight.
In fact – when they first checked my blood pressure – it was 200 / 100. It was a miracle I hadn’t just dropped dead.
Updates
Ill try and keep the blog updated with progress. I was up at 6am today and down the gym and hoping to make this into a regular thing. Small steps.
